Delivery and Installation of New Machines
Merritts provide contract delivery services for suppliers of new machines and production equipment. Our transport department works closely with the client to ensure our installation personnel gain an in depth knowledge of each machine in their range.
Internal Machinery Relocations
Production environments are frequently subject to reorganisation. Merritts engineering department can supply personnel and equipment to install, reposition or remove all types of machinery with minimum disruption to your production.
We can also design, install and certify a complete mains services package, including electrical and piped services
Factory Relocations
Our project management team brings together both transport and engineering departments to provide a complete factory relocation package. This service is available to move machinery throughout the UK and internationally.
Storage & Warehousing Services
With a central location close to the M1, Merritts warehouses are available to assist customers with both short and long term warehouse requirements or to provide machine manufacturers with a location to receive machinery from overseas.
Bonded Warehousing
Merritts are an HMRC approved bonded warehouse facility which allows customers to defer payment of duty & VAT on imported goods. With our extensive bonded warehousing experience we are happy to offer advice and help on any customs issues that you have. If you have a specific query, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Export, Packing & Shipping
Merritts Export & Packing service is able to manufacture bespoke case specifications for any type of export packing. For more than thirty years we have been continually developing our range of services by taking full account of what our customers want.
We are also able to provide an export documentation service and can arrange consultations on the most suitable way to package and ship your challenging items.
Special Projects

How does the Customer Referral Policy Work?
Our policy is very simple: You mention Merritts' services to other companies, which in turn brings us new business. When the prospective company makes a purchase, you will receive a referral gift.
How to Participate
When referring prospective customers, ensure the company mentions your name or business. This can be done by phone, via email, or when filling in one of our 'request a quote' forms.
Referral Gift
This will be a gift voucher to the value of £10.
Referral gifts are generally awarded within one week of final payment from the referred customer.
There is no time limit between the time of the referral and the time a prospective customer purchases Merritts' services. If you make a referral that leads to a purchase years later, the referral policy will still apply.
