Our site teams consist of SSSTS trained foremen, riggers, HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers, crane operators and electrical & mechanical engineering specialists. Merritts also employ fully certified slinger signallers, banksmen and appointed persons to provide competent supervision when carrying out the moving and lifting of heavy machinery and equipment.

James Merritt
Responsible for business development and sales, James ensures the Merritts team share a common goal to be the leading machinery relocation provider in the UK. Continually promoting our company values and instilling our code of ethics throughout, James also ensures the protection and fair treatment of our employees, our customers and suppliers, as well as our local community.
Richard Merritt
Richard controls the operational direction of Merritts, ensuring project planning and logistical organisation combine to deliver the highest quality service. He also leads the customer liaison team, managing and developing key account relationships by fully understanding each client’s individual business requirements.

Steve Bradley
Steve works with many of the world’s leading machinery manufacturers and dealers, planning projects in fine detail and overseeing the collection, delivery and installation of new machinery at client premises.
Mark Cleary
An experienced project manager, Mark’s expertise is carrying out large scale factory relocation projects. His attention to detail ensures projects remain on track, keeping downtime to a minimum for product manufacturers.
Jane Kimberley
Based more internally, Jane concentrates on lead generation, assists the Technical Sales team and helps to maintain long term relationships with our customers.
Darren Hardy
Darren oversees our marketing process, manages campaign activities, helps prepare credentials documentation and ensures customer satisfaction is the core priority for everyone involved in a project.

Lincoln Marks
As an ex HSE inspector, Lincoln ensures that high standards of health and safety are maintained, and we continue to provide highly detailed risk assessments and method statements to ensure the safest possible working environment.
Operations
Colin Eves
Colin co-ordinates all operational aspects and ensures there is a process of continuous business improvement. He manages our highly skilled and experienced team of drivers and operators to ensure projects are managed effectively.
Steve Burlinson
Steve is responsible for managing our ongoing upcoming contracts, as well as acting as the key liaison between the sales and operational departments.
Victoria Dunstan
Ensuring our equipment is booked out and transported to where it needs to be is down to Victoria. She ensures the movement of our entire fleet of trucks, trailers, fork-lifts and specialist equipment is coordinated efficiently.
Accounts & Administration
Alan Cundy
Joining the team in 2018, Alan helps ensure our business strategy is underpinned with robust accounting policies and procedures that enable us to continually re-invest in the best equipment.
Claire Goucher
Claire supports the business with statistical reporting and financial analysis to ensure we operate within our KPIs and managing budgets according to our forecast expenditure.
Jake Ward
Jake controls all aspects of finance administration including the management of invoicing, credit control and the payroll process.
