Having recently invested in a new £120k Nooteboom trailer, and a new £260k Versa-Lift 40/60, heavy machinery transport specialists, Merritts have just taken delivery of a new fully electric £400k JMG MC 580 cabin cruiser crane. The investment will assist all heavy machinery moving, installation and factory relocation projects.
This purchase is part of a continuous programme of investment to ensure Merritts have a modern fleet of vehicles and equipment to safely carry out machinery transport, installation and factory relocation projects for our customers. This investment will further develop our service offering, enabling us to meet the unique demands machinery manufacturers, agents, distributors, and manufacturing companies, and securing our place as the UK’s leading machinery moving specialists.
Commenting, Richard Merritt, Director, said “Over recent months, we have experienced a significant increase in demand for heavy machinery moving services in ‘clean’ industries such as food and pharmaceutical manufacturing where hygiene and cleanliness are of paramount importance.
