An 8 week project involving the relocation of sensitive laboratory equipment from a number of buildings on campus, to the Grade II listed Sir Frederick Mappin Building, as part of the Engineering Heartspace Project for the University of Sheffield.
The collection of a new 14Te DIG generator and 4Te P7 alternator from manufacturers Stamford, and onward delivery to the University of Nottingham where we performed the offloading and positioning.
The removal of heavy machinery from an engineering department at the University of Leicester. The machinery was stored at our warehouse facility whilst refurbishment work was carried out at the university. Following the refurbishment, Merritts then returned the machinery to the university and re-installed.
As part of our machinery movers package, we utilised the expertise of our mechanical and electrical engineers to successfully complete the dismantling and removal of a large scale pilot plant at the University of Nottingham.
The disconnection, removal, and transfer of heavy manufacturing machinery between buildings at the University of Birmingham.
The collection, delivery, offload, and installation of new laser machinery at the University of Huddersfield.
