Project Outline: As an approved supplier, Merritts were required to store, transport, offload and position 12 colour printing presses with a total weight of 85T at customer premises throughout the UK.
Project Details
The printing presses, as well as other ancillary equipment, were collected from designated stores and transported back to Merritts HMRC secure facility where it was then logged into one of our warehouses via our fully integrated computerised management system.
From here we created a full condition report of the machines entailing the production of a photographic stock list detailing all printing machinery along with its ancillary equipment.
Approval was then given by the client for our engineering personnel to carry out cleaning services and minor repairs. Subsequent to the storage, arrangements were then made for Merritts to undertake onward transit and full machine installation at customers preferred site.
Merritts expertise in the print sector was very much on show throughout the lifting and storage of our printing presses. The knowledge and detail were second to none and at all times adhered to strict health and safety regulations.
