Our service and expertise has been developed over many years to specifically target the textile market. Examples of the textile machinery that we have handled in the past include: polymerizing machines, dying machines, bleaching machines, scouring machines, mercerizing machines, foil/smog transfer machines, wrap crushing machines and pleating machines.

This experience has allowed Merritts to work alongside many of the major manufacturers. We are able to lift, transport and install as well as undertake complete recommissioning packages if required. We take great pride in our dedicated and highly motivated team who are always striving to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

At Merritts, we understand that your brand is one of the most important aspects of your business. When a customer purchases your product, they want to see that their investment is being handled by experts who care about the textile machinery that they are installing. Merritts fleet of vehicles and plant are stylishly liveried in our corporate colours which extend to the operatives uniforms ensuring that the Merritts brand becomes an extension of your own. We can offer Low loaders with lorry mounted cranage (up to 26Te lift and carry capability), flat and covered transport, Versalift high capacity compact lift trucks (pick and carry up to 27Te) for lifting and a large fleet of 7Te rated trucks for general moving.

When it comes to the installation, Merritts are able to offer everything from handling and transport services through to the provision of engineers to assist your commissioning engineers. This can be a significant cost saving on longer installations and also allows the OEM engineers to be free to concentrate or more lucrative service work. A schedule of rates is available for all services on request.

During 2008, Merritts expanded our services to provide Export Packing and shipping services. We are now able to remove equipment from a customer site, transport to our warehouse facility and arrange for the equipment to be packed to any specification and shipped to any destination in the world.

OEM Customers can also expect a service that is second to none. Each client will receive a Director level contact who is available seven days a week to answer any queries.
