As dealers in second hand food production machinery, Raymond Travel Machinery require interim storage for recently acquired machinery prior to onward sale. Merritts provide a flexible storage solution within its 58,000 sqft warehouse facilities near Nottingham.

Machines and equipment arrive as loose cargo at Merritts on third party transport; they are then offloaded under cover by overhead crane or lift truck.

Each item is inspected and logged onto our warehouse management system. Our warehouse personnel complete an assessment of the machine’s condition, and forward this, along with photographic records, to Raymonds.

Where required our engineers undertake minor repairs to machines which have been bought "as seen".

Machinery remains in store until sold, whereupon Merritts are instructed to deliver the goods to the buyer or load onto others transport.

Where machines are destined for overseas buyers, Merritts packing operatives fully export pack, base and foil bag or simply load and stow equipment into 40ft containers and ship worldwide as required.
