Bonded Warehousing

Our premises have had HMRC approval to become a customs bonded warehouse facility. This allows our customers to defer payment of import duty and VAT.

There are many companies that do not sell their goods within several weeks of obtaining them. This means they will have paid the import duty and VAT up front on all their stock. If they had used our bonded warehousing facility they could have avoided paying this for a considerably longer period of time.

Customers can take the opportunity to purchase their goods in bulk when exchange rates are favourable as they will not need to pay any import duty or VAT until until the goods are moved from our premises.

Bonded warehouses give importers flexibility. If they are unable to get a good price for their products domestically, or they can't sell any at all, they can sell them for re-export without having to worry about the duties which would already have been paid.

Our customs bonded warehouses have over 100,000 square feet of internal storage space. Our warehouses are all heated, fitted with high and low bay lighting and offer eaves heights of up to 10m. We have overhead cranage for the handling of goods up to 20Te in weight. Our sites are enclosed by 2.4m palisade fencing and are equipped with state of the art security solutions.
